The Administrator will support the administration team to manage the end to end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the multidisciplinary team and patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers.
The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As an Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.
We are currently recruiting for:
Administration to Lung Health Check 30hrs. For this post, we require the successful candidate to work on both our Mobile Van Unit which geographically relocates across Hull and also in the office based at Castle Hill Hospital. The main duties include-
- Telephone query management
- Meet and greet participants onto the Van Unit
- Managing appointments and participant queries
- Tracking participants through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
Main duties of the job
With a starting salary of £20,270 per annum with increments throughout your service, a generous NHS pension scheme and a fantastic annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays) and offer excellent opportunities to progress within clinical administration.
Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills;

Qualifications / exp
- GCSE - C & above
- NVQ Level 2 in Administration or equivalent experience
- Experience of providing a service to patients or customers
- Previous Administration Experience
- Experience of using electronic systems
- Knowledge of RTT and Patient Pathways
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
