Ward 12 Hull Royal Infirmary

Junior Sister - Band 6 – full time

Ward 12 Hull Royal Infirmary requires a highly motivated Junior Sister to join our team.

The ward provides specialist care for trauma and orthopaedic patients including major trauma and is a 28 bedded ward.

It is desirable that candidates have a high level of knowledge and experience within this specialty. Experience of caring for pre & post-operative patients is also essential.

Good Leadership skills are required as you will provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing team.

Candidates must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, organised and be prepared to support the ward manager in the everyday running of the ward.

It is expected that the Junior Sister will deputise in the absence of the ward manager and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills, IT skills and experience with electronic patient records is desirable, however training will be given.

The applicant must be able to exhibit their commitment to developing the service by demonstrating the ability to work independently as well as within a dedicated team to provide a high quality patient experience.
