Nurse Director 6 month secondment Surgery Health Group

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional individual who must be an enthusiastic and experienced senior nurse, up for the challenge of establishing outstanding care for patients, leading services to ensure they remain of high quality, safe and financially sustainable.

You will be a Senior Nurse with excellent communication skills, a history of effective leadership, change management and outstanding people skills. Led by the Joint Medical Directors, the Operations and Nurse Director have joint responsibility as the senior triumvirate for the leadership and management of the entire Health Group. The Health Group comprises four complex divisions, Theatres, Anaesthetics and Critical Care, Digestive Diseases, Specialist Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics and Neurosurgery.  You will be confident, articulate and able to represent both the Health Group and Trust at the most senior levels of the organisation.

 

You will have a wealth of experience at a Senior Nursing role within the organisation and be conversant with the objectives and priorities of the nursing agenda; being able to articulate how you currently implement them and how as a Nurse Director you would take overall responsibility. You will be passionate about patient care and demonstrate the Trust’s vision and values at all times. During the course of your duties, you’ll be expected to provide proactive and visible leadership.
