An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated individual to join our team in the Central Decontamination Unit as a Supervisor.

Reporting to the Senior Supervisor and working with the supervisory team you will be responsible for the day to day leadership, supervision and training of staff during your hours of duty.

Duties include providing guidance, support and practical instruction to staff as well as co-ordinating and supervising activities to deliver production requirements for the processing of medical and surgical equipment – at all times ensuring stringent quality standards are maintained.

You will be actively involved in the introduction of workloads generated by new specialties and developments and will have the opportunity to be pro-active in formulating, implementing and leading revised practices and processes, ensuring the Unit maintains compliance with standards.

You should have a flexible approach to work, the ability to work on your own initiative, work well under pressure and possess excellent communication and organisational skills.

You are asked to note that some of the work may be repetitive and will involve manual handling of loads.

The Unit holds ISo13485; 2016 accreditation and as part of the Quality Management System you will be expected to work to the highest standards.

You should be flexible to work across all shifts as needed and be able to work any day Monday to Sunday, work well under pressure, be self-motivated, reliable and possess excellent communication and organizational skills.

Experience of working within the domain of a Central Decontamination Unit is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
