An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced nurse within the Renal Research Department to work on an externally funded research project on a 12 month secondment basis.
The role will require enthusiasm, commitment and an ability to be self-motivated. The service offers a friendly and supportive working environment along with personal development opportunities.
Applications are invited from nurses who would like to experience clinical research. A minimum of 2 years post-registration is required and experience of working at a senior level would be advantageous. IT skills and venepuncture are essential skills required by the post holder. A full induction and orientation package will be available to assist the successful applicant.
Successful applicants will have the ability to work independently, manage their own caseload and effectively communicate in various formats. A degree of flexibility is required for this post as the job requires a substantial amount of travelling, and sometimes unsociable hours.
Although the post holder’s primary focus would be within Renal Research, there is an expectation that you are also responsive to the research needs of the organisation and may therefore be required to work in other research areas in the Trust.
Evidence of personal development is required.
This is a secondment for a period of 12 months therefore you must obtain your line managers approval before applying.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
