Applications are invited to join Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Portering Services based at Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary.

The Portering department provides a range of services including patient movements, mortuary activity, transportation of goods, medical records, bloods, specimens, the handling of medical gases (following a period of training), and post room duties.

Tasks will involve driving Trust vehicles on successful completion of a driving assessment.

A clean valid driving licence is essential criteria for all applicants.

We are looking for a reliable, motivated, and flexible Portering Supervisor with excellent communication and interpersonal skills suited to the special needs of a hospital environment. Applicants should be able to undertake shift and weekend working at either of our hospital sites and be able to meet the physical demands of the post
