Due to increased levels of demand and service expansion, the Plastics Surgery service in Hull is currently looking for a new consultant to become part of our Plastic Surgery team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
This post will be on an NHS locum basis and the service is offering a 12-month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension and opportunity of substantive employment at the end of the 12 months.

Applications are invited for the posts of Consultant in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, with any specialist interests considered.
The successful candidate will join our expanding Department of Plastic Surgery, with 11 Plastic Surgery consultants, covering a wide range of specialist interests. This post is a 12 month fixed term post working with a 10 PA job plan.
Applicants should possess full GMC registration, FRCS (Plast) and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within 6 months of receiving their Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of interview.
The successful candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, sharing clinical duties and will take part in the on-call rotas (including a trauma rota).
A provisional timetable for the posts is included in the job description and person specification to illustrate an indicative weekly timetable.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
