We are looking for an enthusiastic team member to complement our Therapy Service at Castle Hill hospital, although there is a requirement to be able to work at any site within the Trust.
The successful candidate will provide support to qualified Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists both in direct patient treatment and non-clinical duties associated with the running of the service.
The post supports the Elective Orthopaedics team however in the future this post may involve working in any one of a variety of other specialities.
The successful candidate must be willing to accept changes as the post and service develops.
Relevant previous experience in direct patient care is essential for the post as well as a NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent. Previous experience as a Physiotherapy / Occupational Therapy Assistant or carer would be desirable.
We offer excellent in-service training and there is supervision in all clinical areas, personal development is a high priority and the successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to developing new skills.

This post is 18 hours per week to be worked 6 hours Saturday, Sunday and Monday. This post supports the delivery of a weekend service.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
