We are looking for an experienced admin assistant, preferably with some knowledge of the pharmacy department to undertake extensive admin duties within our Education & Training team

You will be required to deal with a variety of administrative duties, including recruitment, induction, training records, organising meetings, reception duties and project support and have demonstrable time management and organisational skills. You must have proficient IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and have excellent numeracy and literacy skills as well as excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience of working in a busy environment.

You will ensure efficient use of time by being the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation, screening phone calls, enquiries and requests (and handling them when appropriate), meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority, organising calendars, producing documents, reports and presentations in a timely and efficient manner, collating and presenting data in an appropriate style, contributing to Standard Operating Procedures with strong links to Training & Education.

You will be expected to participate in the late night, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas of the department
