An exciting and challenging development opportunity has arisen for 2 Senior Administrator posts within the Administration and Clerical Team working in AMU, ED and ACU at Hull Royal Infirmary

Responsible for day to day co-ordination/monitoring and supervision of a multi-skilled administration and clerical team. Providing a wide range of reception, clerical and administration support to the Emergency Department, Acute Medicine Unit, Ambulatory Care Unit and Bed Bureau

The post is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who can provide ‘hands-on’ supervisor support to the A&C team in this high pressure service. An interest in developing knowledge and understanding of the wider NHS agenda would be desirable.

This role requires a person who possesses strong interpersonal/ communication skills, has the ability to delegate and prioritise workload with good time management skills. A good working knowledge of the Trusts IT systems is desirable as is someone who has the ability to promote and motivate effective team working. Flexibility in regards to working hours and short notice shifts would also be desirable.

2 x 22.5 hour post to be worked over 3 days . Various shifts over a 4 week rota .

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
