Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Trust invest in the welfare and development of their staff An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust Occupational Health Department for a professionally confident, articulate, bright and enthusiastic person for the position of Occupational Health Nurse.

Hull and East Yorkshire Occupational Health Department is a service based across the two sites of Castle Hill Hospital and Hull Royal Infirmary and serves approximately 9,000 NHS employees. An Occupational Health provision is also provided to a number of external companies within the local area.

The role will incorporate the high quality delivery of a full remit of Occupational Health services including sickness absence case management, health surveillance, health screening and infection control. You will be working within a SEQOHS accredited Occupational Health Department as part of a multi-disciplinary team, although a high level of independent decision making skills are essential as isolated working can take place when providing a service to external clients.

The post is for a Band 7 qualified Occupational Health Nurse but consideration will given for a Band 6 for individuals who are undertaking or recently undertaken the specialist practitioner degree and do not have the required expeience.
