The Digital Care Team are looking for motivated, forward thinking band 5 nurses who like a challenge, to assist in the rollout of digital applications such as ‘electronic observations’. This exciting role will involve supporting the Digital Lead Nurse with the digital transformation agenda specifically supporting the training and development of clinical staff in the use of digital applications at patient’s bedside and working alongside the Lorenzo Digital Exemplar LDE team delivering the Trust’s digital transformation agenda.
We are currently live with digital applications such as e-obs in two wards at HRI and all inpatient areas at CHH. The successful candidates will help take the project a step further as we continue rollout of our digital care transformation agenda: eObservations, bedside assessments, fluid balance and clinical photography across the Trust, but with focus now moving towards the HRI site.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals that engage well with others. You will be required to have some skills, knowledge and understanding in the use of Electronic Observations, Lorenzo and other Trust IT systems and be able to challenge and work independently.
The role has the advantage of being predominately Monday to Friday hours; however, some flexibility is required especially around ‘Go Live’ where weekends shifts and other working, to support teaching of staff on all shifts, will be required. Any unsocial hours will be compensated accordingly. Travel between sites will also be required.
The role is a 12 month secondment, full time equivalent post. Requires agreement from your current line manager.
