TRAINEE NURSING ASSOCIATE

We are currently looking to recruit more Trainee Nursing Associates.

WHAT’S THE JOB?    Trainee Nursing Associate (Afc Band 3)   

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING The Trainee Nursing Associate role is a two-year practice-based foundation degree programme. 

You will work 30 hours a week in the trust, this is made up of 22.5 hours in your ‘Hub’ area (base ward) and 7.5 hours on a ‘Spoke’ placement which will be an area linked to your ‘Hub’.  

You will attend university one day a week, and qualify as a registered Band 4 Nursing Associate. You will be paid by and treated as, an employee of Hull University Teaching Hospitals Trust.

WHERE IT COULD LEAD Upon qualification, you will be placed on the NMC register and join the trust as Band 4 Registered Nursing Associate with the potential opportunity to progress further.   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

ESSENTIAL: Literacy and numeracy Level 2 or equivalent (GCSE grade C/4/5)      

                             Internal candidates must have managers support

DESIREABLE: Experience of working in health and social care. 

                                Evidence of further study at Level 3 and 4   

                                The Care Certificate

** Salary relates to year 2 of 3 year NHS pay deal
