Are you a registered health professional looking to develop your skills in clinical education?

Are you a friendly and approachable person who enjoys training others?

If you have answered yes, then we may have the role for you.

We have a rare opportunity within the HYMS Clinical Skills Facilitator team at HUTH for a registered health professional to join our team where we can offer you a change of direction in your career.

This opportunity will allow you to develop your teaching and assessment skills within a well-established, friendly, supportive team. With your clinical knowledge and approachable personality, you will use your skills and experience to help facilitate the education of our future Doctors and Physician Associates.

You will work alongside a small friendly team in Hull, but also have the opportunity to observe and participate in teaching over other NHS sites if you so wish.

You will engage with and educate our next generation of doctors and physician associates seeing them through to graduation. There is nothing better than the feeling of being part of someone’s journey from student to qualified practitioner. You really do make a difference.

In return we can offer you a full and supportive programme whilst you become familiar with both our curriculum and your own personal teaching and assessing abilities. We will encourage you to use your existing expertise and motivate you to learn new and exciting skills which may include roles within our high fidelity simulation suite. We would encourage you to contribute your own ideas of how we can maintain the excellent standard we continually strive for.

There will be ongoing training for you to learn and develop your teaching and assessment skills as well as keeping up to date with evidence based clinical knowledge.

If this post excites you then we look forward to hearing from you.
