Applications are invited for the post of Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Facilitator. This post will be a key member of the Clinical Audit and Effectiveness Team.

The postholder will primarily be responsible for the monitoring and development of clinical audit within the Trust.  As required, the postholder will provide guidance to clinical staff undertaking audit projects and ensuring outcomes are recorded. The successful applicant will also contribute to the 7 day working audits and the co-ordination of NCEPOD projects. The postholder will also be required to assist the team in determining the Trust's compliance with NICE guidance. 

Ideally, you should have a first degree or equivalent. Experience of data collection, analysis and writing and presenting reports is required. The successful applicant will have good interpersonal and team working skills, strong organisational skills and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
