We  have an opportunity within the Clinical Administration Team based in Orthopedics at CHH.    We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who will enjoy varied administration roles. 

The Administrator will support the administration team to manage the end to end clinical administrative processes associated to the patient pathways, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for both the department and  patients, in order to deliver a high quality administration service, for our patients and customers .

The work is varied and demanding with an emphasis on accuracy, adaptability and the ability to prioritise competing workloads. As an Administrator you will be involved in the end to end patient pathway providing administrative support to our clinicians.

Main duties of the job

Our  Administrators play a vital role in the delivery of patient care via the management of the patients end-to-end pathway and supporting the wider team.  Our roles are varied and challenging and your day to day duties may include;

  • Tracking patients through their journey to ensure a great patient experience
  • Clinical letter transcription
  • Answering the telephone
  • Logging referrals
  • Sorting Post

With a starting salary of £20,270 per annum with increments throughout your service,  a generous NHS pension scheme and a fantastic annual leave package (27 days annual leave plus bank holidays) and offer excellent  opportunities to progress within clinical administration.

Although previous administration experience would be helpful, we are first and foremost looking for individuals with a passion to work in a health care setting and those with a 'can do' attitude. Candidates should possess the following skills;

Working for our organisation
