We are looking for an experienced administrator, who ideally has a good working knowledge of the e-roster programme or who has significant experience rostering complex working patterns for clinical teams e.g. collating on-call rotas for clinical staff etc. The role is initially being offered as a 12 month secondment.
You will be required to assist the Pharmacy Department to transfer all staffing rosters and annual leave onto the e-roster system. You will co-ordinate rosters for ward cover and on-call duty under the supervision of clinical staff. You will be the first point of call to answer staff quires regarding rosters, annual leave and use of the e-roster system. You will work closely with the e-roster team and will train pharmacy staff on basic and advanced use of the system. You must have proficient IT skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and have excellent numeracy and literacy skills as well as excellent communication skills, attention to detail and experience of working in a busy environment.
You will ensure efficient use of time by being the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside the organisation, screening phone calls, enquiries and requests (and handling them when appropriate), meeting and greeting visitors at all levels of seniority, organising calendars, producing documents, reports and presentations in a timely and efficient manner, collating and presenting data in an appropriate style, contributing to Standard Operating Procedures with strong links to the e-roster team.
You will be expected to participate in the late night, weekend and Bank Holiday rotas of the department partaking in basic reception duties and ward deliveries.
