The Medicine Health Group has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic senior nurse to join a progressive nursing team within the Acute Medicine department. This is a secondment and will be for a period of 6 months.

You will be proactive, have excellent leadership and communication skills and an in depth knowledge of the acute medical pathways. You will predominantly work at Hull Royal Infirmary but must have the ability to travel between sites in order to attend meetings and cross cover for your colleagues as required. A dynamic and innovative individual is sought to complement the existing teams and join the management team in the leadership and direction of a forward thinking, rapidly advancing specialty. You will participate in the Trust’s first on call rota and be keen to develop both yourself and the service for the benefit of patients. You will also be a senior nurse within the Health Group and organisation and be expected to reflect the Trust’s vision and values, contributing to the Health Group and corporate Trust agendas.

You will have at least three years experience at band 7, a willingness to develop your scope of practice and have sound knowledge of nursing, leadership and management. Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work with and manage multidisciplinary teams are essential.

** Salary relates to year 2 of 3 year NHS pay deal
