Renal Specialist Nurse

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Renal Specialist  Nurse. If you are an  enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse with a speciality interest in Renal we want you to join our friendly team. Renal experience is ideal but applicants with transferable skills are also welcome. Your role will include coordinating the assessment and education of patients referred into the low clearance service and working closely with other renal specialist nurses to promote a seamless service to our patients

 The candidate will have good communication skills and will work with the Renal Multi Professional team  Communication and co-ordinating with the renal pre dialysis, haemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis parts of the service is a large part of the role. You will be expected to develop and update policies and procedures within this role and be expected to attend and chair departmental meetings.

Depending on the candidates level of renal experience this may be a development post that is working towards the applicant being able to perform duties outlined in the band 7 job description and working at Band 6 with support of the service to achieve desired objectives can by considered.
