Clinical Lead Physiotherapist
Location – Hull, East Yorkshire
Fulltime: 37.5 hours per week
Position type: fixed term contracts – 6 months and 12 months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated and experienced physiotherapist to join our dedicated Musculoskeletal Team working in our Emergency Department and Physiotherapy Outpatient Departments.

The Physiotherapy service is a large clinical service and has some 120 wte staff providing in and outpatient services across 2 sites.

We provide MSK services to the people of Hull and East Yorkshire area and the surrounding area.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a team leader role in the planning, delivering and evaluation of the physiotherapy service within the Emergency Department and Physiotherapy Outpatients Service. You will support in the delivery of an enhanced physiotherapy service for our Emergency Care Department, delivering a “ see and treat” model of care.
The post requires a skilled clinician who is forward thinking, self-motivated, possesses excellent communication skills and has extensive experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions.
Candidates will have experience of working at a senior level with patients with a variety of musculoskeletal conditions . They will be able to demonstrate clinical reasoning and skills at an advanced level as well as experience and skills at leading a team . This post may involve working at Hull Royal Infirmary and / or Castle Hill Hospital.
An understanding of change management and developing staff and services would be an advantage.
Our service will be providing services over extended hours, seven days a week throughout the year and we would expect innovation and flexibility in terms of provision of staff cover.
You will be required to participate in ongoing CPD and in – service training. You will be fully supported by experienced clinical lead physiotherapists. Protected CPD time as well as an experienced mentor is provided alongside in-service programmes including case presentations and peer review. You will also be actively involved in the marketing, promotion and growth of the physiotherapy service within the site .
