We are looking for a reliable, committed and enthusiastic pharmacy technician who is registered with GPHC to join our existing Aseptic team for a 6 month secondment

This post is based at the Queens centre for haematology and oncology, and is responsible, with existing senior staff for all quality assurance and stock control issues within the aseptic unit, as well as the day to day running of the unit.

You will assist in the management, provision and development of a highly efficient Aseptic service and be responsible for the training of other staff within this area. Attendance at various Trust meetings will be expected.

 You will ideally have some previous Aseptic experience and are able to take a pro-active approach, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills, as well as the commitment and motivation to develop new services and embrace change

You will undertake dispensary sessions and other supervisory duties associated with the job role, as well as participate in the late night, weekend and Bank Holiday working of the department.

** Salary relates to year 1 of 3 year NHS pay deal, Year 2 will be available from April 1st 2019
