We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our IM&T team in Pharmacy to provide an excellent IM&T service to the department of pharmacy at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. The post holder will be responsible for collating information from different Trust Systems and other NHS resources for producing financial and management information and will be the first line of contact for queries around high cost drugs. You will also support Pharmacy by maintaining the IT equipment in the department and undertaking routine reporting and communication of performance data. The post holder will be expected to show initiative in setting up information systems to help senior and middle managers in the department make strategic decisions and monitor performance. 

You must be enthusiastic, highly motivated and flexible. The post holder will be required to work closely with the Pharmacists, technicians and assistants in the department and with colleagues from other departments in the Trust under minimal supervision and on their own initiative.

By joining the Pharmacy IM&T team, you will get an opportunity to gain additional experience, keep your skills up to date and develop new ones especially around IT and business intelligence. A Band 4 to Band 5 development/progression pathway is currently under development with a view to the post holder enrolling on this programme.

The successful candidate must be able to undertake weekends and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.

You must be educated to A level and must have a good working knowledge of MS Office applications and should be able to manage your own work to meet deadlines. Any previous experience in hardware troubleshooting is desirable.

** Salary relates to year 1 of 3 year NHS pay deal, Year 2 will be av available from April 1st 2019
