There’s an exciting opportunity to be a Trainee Nursing Associate; this current Band 3 role is for existing employees who are willing and eligible to undertake an apprenticeship programme. This is a programme of study undertaken through the University of Hull over 24 months attending one day per week, leading to a Foundation Degree qualification. The programme involves a Hub and Spoke placement model, working in a clinical area with placements in alternative clinical areas. Upon successful completion of both the Foundation Degree and Apprenticeship qualification over the 2 year course programme, you will be eligible to Register with the NMC as a Nursing Associate, and work as a Band 4 Nursing Associate. The Trainee Nursing Associate role will appeal to those with personal ambition to embrace this new challenge and role; and those committed to providing excellent patient care. You will be supported in your personal development, your academic journey and in developing your skills in the clinical area. After such a considerable investment by this organisation, it is expected successful applicants will remain as employees of the organisation.

Entry Requirements:

  • Mathematics & English GCSE pass Grade C and above or Level 2 equivalent essential
  • Evidence of further study at Level 3 and 4 desirable
