Are you looking to work in a busy and developing environment of Theatres? We are currently looking to recruit scrub/anaesthetic and recovery staff to work in our Major Trauma theatre complex, to provide safe, high quality care to our patients. We provide a range of specialities including Neurosurgery, E.N.T., Vascular, Trauma, Maxillofacial, Orthopaedics, Upper GI, Colorectal Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Paediatric surgery, General Surgery and Radiology.

We are looking for individuals who can demonstrate a dynamic approach to their work and who have commitment, drive and enthusiasm – you will be encouraged to work as part of a strong team and become involved in developing your own service.

As a Registered Nurse/ODP you will need to be prepared to work within a busy environment and we do expect staff to be flexible in their approach to cover for other specialities once trained. Applicants should have a motivating approach to teaching students and junior members of staff.

No previous experience of working in theatres is required, providing you have a passion to care for our patients, and a desire to work in operating theatres.

We are also seeking individuals who have a flexible attitude to working patterns to meet the service needs. There are various shift patterns covering the 24/7 period – although predominantly the work is during the day there is a requirement to participate in night/weekend working.

** Salary relates to year 1 of 3 year NHS pay deal
