Can you work with the high pressures of the modern NHS, whilst still enjoying your time in the department. Then we have an opportunity to join our friendly dedicated MRI team, as an experienced MRI Radiographer, or as a trainee on a tailor made training package, we will make you feel welcome.

We support a wide range of specialities including neurosurgery, paediatrics, cardiac, oncology, orthopaedics, E.N.T., urology, abdominal and vascular surgery.
So whether you are already an experienced MRI Radiographer wanting to gain outstanding experience, across all imaging modalities, or newly qualified wanting to begin your career with amazing opportunities, you will gain the widest possible experience during your time with us. You will build a huge MRI repertoire of high standard imaging, that will be invaluable to you in the future, wherever you see yourself progressing.

We are committed to continuing education. CPD is actively encouraged and supported within the Radiology department running a number of educational afternoons throughout the year.
In addition, we have our own MRI Annual study day run by the Radiographers in MRI, and the department also runs an annual MRI Training week which all members of staff are encouraged to participate in.

MRI Radiographers are encouraged to study for Post graduate qualifications. You can study towards formal qualifications such as the post graduate certificate in MRI or develop your skills in reporting orbits or try neuro linguistic programming to assist anxious patients.
We hold regular safety update meetings and ongoing safety training.
