An opportunity has arisen for an experienced clinician to join the Practice Learning Facilitator Team, supporting health care students and supervisors by facilitating formal and informal learning.

You will act as a role model and demonstrate that you are highly motivated, enthusiastic, well organised, accountable and are able to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills are essential and partnership working with the University and regional Practice Learning Facilitator’s (PLFs) is also an essential. 

Successful applicants will be required to work during the working week, using your skills and initiative to develop your own knowledge and skills and the Practice Learning Facilitator service, you must be a registered Nurse, Midwife or Allied Health Professional.

The team offers a supportive environment in which you can learn an extensive range of skills and develop both personally and professionally during a period of supervision.

This post would be suitable for staff with post registration experience only.

Applicant requirements

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.

The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
