Acting Band 4 Senior Physiotherapy Assistant Post to cover maternity leave

This is a fantastic opportunity for career development for anyone who has relevant experience working as a Physiotherapy Assistant which is essential for this post. The successful candidate will work across the surgery wards at CHH assisting in the delivery of effective and timely treatment to a wide range of patients presenting with mobility problems. The role will also include providing pre and post-operative information and exercises to patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures.
As an Acting Senior Assistant you will be responsible for the supervision and coordination of staff of a lower grade and provide support to qualified Physiotherapists both in direct patient treatment and non clinical duties associated with the running of the service.
Applicants must possess NVQ level 3 in Care or equivalent or be able to demonstrate evidence of competency and extensive experience/knowledge of patient conditions and therapeutic interventions. In addition you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills

** Salary figure relates to year 1 of 3 year NHS pay Deal
