Full Time 37.5hrs with on call requirement
Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust and Kingston upon Hull City Council operate a joint mortuary service providing mortuary and post-mortem facilities for the county of East Yorkshire.
The mortuary service has a vacancy for enthusiastic Anatomical Pathology Technologists to join our expanding team. You will be based at the Hull & East Riding Public Mortuary but may be required to assist at our satellite site on occasions.

You will be able to demonstrate experience of specialist post-mortem techniques, conducting external examinations, admission and release procedures, classification processes and various administrative duties including HTA compliance audits. The nature of the job is such that it demands high standards of integrity and particular emphasis is placed on confidentiality.
You will be required to assist in the delivery of an out of hours call out service and be required to undertake work outside of normal working hours when on call. This will include unsociable hours and public holidays at short notice.
The service is reactive and as such a level of flexibility in relation to overtime is required during busy periods to ensure continuous service delivery
