We are looking for a motivated and committed individual to work closely with the team of 7 established Consultants within the Department of Urology at Castle Hill Hospital. The Department is a busy tertiary referral cancer centre providing a comprehensive range of urology services.

The Locum post is for 12 months and the successful candidate will be expected to deliver general urology services to help deliver 2-week wait cancer and 18-week new referral to treatment targets. The post-holder is expected to provide a 1:8 week acute on-call. Ideally the post-holder will have a sub-specialist interest in functional urology and incontinence surgery to work within this, already established, service. Hull was the 2017 UK City of Culture and has a vibrant atmosphere of ambition, innovation and inspiration. The surrounding East Riding of Yorkshire and East Yorkshire coast has outstanding beauty and there are many small and beautiful villages to live in. Close by is the market town of Beverley with its imposing Minster Cathedral. Candidates for the post must be registered medical practitioners and will be on the Specialist Register on the date of the Appointments Committee
