Applications are invited for the post of Information Governance Support Manager, based within the Information Governance (IG) Team at Castle Hill Hospital. The post holder will be required to support the Information Governance Manager in the successful completion of the Data Security & Protection Toolkit, provide advice on IG, confidentiality and data security, advise and assist with investigation of IG incidents, maintain IG logs and ensure ongoing compliance of Information Governance principals across the Trust and provide support and guidance to the Freedom of Information Team.

We are looking for someone experienced in working within an Information Services or Patient Administration related role, with an understanding of Information Governance Standards and the profound impact of Information Governance across the Trust. Applicants must be self-motivated with good interpersonal and communication skills and able to prioritise workloads in the face of competing demands. They must be willing to learn and stay informed of local and national guidance impacting the role.

The successful applicant will have a working knowledge of the Trust’s IT systems and data flows, and have a proven record of effective leadership and management skills.

The post is based on Suite 19 at Castle Hill Hospital, but the successful candidate will be expected to work across both sites.
