A full time position is available on the main Switchboard and Helpdesk at Castle Hill Hospital. The successful applicant will be working as part of a team, delivering an essential service to the Trust, you will have had experience of dealing with a variety of requests, have the ability to interpret written procedures and be educated to GCSE level C or above (or equivalent) and have effective organisational skills.
Applicants must have experience in taking and dealing with multiple calls using a PC based switchboard or equivalent systems, demonstrate excellent communication skills, be confident in dealing with people on all levels and possess effective keyboard/computer skills. You will be a team player and work well under pressure.
Recent experience of working in a busy switchboard/call centre environment is advantageous.
Applicants should have some experience of working unsocial hours
**Salary reflects year 1 of 3 years NHS pay deal
