An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced Registered Nurses. We require enthusiastic, motivated and dedicated Junior Charge Nurse/Ward Sister to be the guardian of high quality patient care working alongside the ward Charge Nurse/Sister on ward 70 HRI.

The post holders will work with the Ward sister to continue to improve leadership and change management on ward 70.

The post holder has the authority and continuing responsibility under the Charge Nurse/Ward Sister for the management of nursing care, staff, the environment and will lead and manage the ward supporting patients and staff in the absence of the Senior Sister.

We require the post holder to have expert experience within the nursing  field and management experience of at Band 5 level. Leadership skills are essential for this post and any additional education around leadership would be an advantage. The post holder should have a post registration qualification in mentorship at degree level.   

Excellent organisational, time management and advanced communication skills are essential as well as having a methodical approach to ensure the smooth running of the ward, patient care and ability to work with a multidisciplinary team.
