Applications are invited from enthusiastic and committed individuals for the position of Consultants in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Sub-specialty interest in Facial Deformity Surgery. 

It is an exciting time for the Oral and Maxillofacial Unit of the Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. A new outpatient department is due to open on the Castle Hill site in December 2017 which will include clinical areas for Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Restorative Dentistry. All elective work is planned to transfer to the Castle Hill site with the acute and trauma workload remaining at Hull Royal Infirmary, a designated major trauma centre.  

The Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust has an annual budget of circa £481 million, employs approximately 8,000 staff and serves an extended population of 1.2 million.  The Trust provides a comprehensive range of acute services from three hospital sites and we are committed to the continuous development of services for the benefit of patients and to providing a comprehensive service of the highest quality.

Applicants are required to be fully registered with the General Medical Council with a licence to practice and be on the Specialist List or eligible for inclusion, and to have completed, or within 6 months of completion of an approved training programme in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
