The Department of Cardiac Physiology
Band 7 Invasive Cardiac Physiologist
Full Time 37.5 hours plus on call
A new year and looking for a new challenge then this may be the role for you!
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced invasive Cardiac Physiologist to join the department at Castle Hill Hospital. We are looking to recruit a dynamic, competent, conscientious and highly motivated individual to join our established team in a forward thinking department with expanding services.
Castle Hill Hospital is situated in the rural suburbs of Hull. Hull has recently been the City of Culture. Kingston-upon-Hull has more to offer than first meets the eye. Not only does the city boast two Super League rugby league teams; the championship football team of Hull City AFC also resides here. As well as excellent shopping facilities, the city centre has exceptional transport links all over Yorkshire, including trains to the nearby cities of Leeds and York. Located less than an hours drive to the coast Hull is also conveniently placed to the Humber Bridge, the gateway to Lincolnshire and beyond.
The service currently provides Echo, Stress Echo, physician led TOE and Technician led Stress testing and holter analysis.
The invasive service provides complex coronary and cardiac intervention, electrophysiology studies and mapping, basic and complex pacing and ICD implant and follow up. The newly commissioned TAVI and lead extraction services are due to commence shortly.
We are looking for a motivated individual with the appropriate skill set to lead, support and provide the above services. Participation in our out of hours on call service for cardiac intervention will be expected at band 7.
Applicants should be BHRS accredited and be registered or eligible to register with the RCCP.
