The Surgery Health Group is looking for an outstanding individual to join the nursing leadership team in the Endoscopy Department at Castle Hill Hospital.
The Endoscopy unit provides a wide range of specialist endoscopic procedures to Hull and East Yorkshire and the surrounding areas. It is essential that the candidate has experience that includes endoscopy skills & caring for the sedated patient. The post involves cross site working at the endoscopy unit at Hull Royal Infirmary, flexible working and participation on the on-call rota. It is therefore essential that you are a car driver with your own vehicle.
We are looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated and organised individuals who are keen to support the Sister/Charge Nurse in the everyday running of the unit. It is desirable to have experience within a leadership role. It is expected that the junior sister will deputise in the absence of the Sister / Charge Nurse and ensure a positive patient experience through the delivery of high standards of patient care ensuring the right care in the right place at the right time.
The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, IT skills and experience with electronic patient records is desirable, however training will be provided.
The applicant must be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing the service. The ability to work independently as well as within a dedicated team to provide a high quality patient experience is essential.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
