Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic individual to join the Information and Governance team, which is part of the Estates, Facilities and Development directorate, Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, based at Castle Hill Hospital. Your duties will require working at all four sites when undertaking works for short periods.
The posts is full time working (37.5 hours/week), Monday - Friday
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be a key player in the Information and Governance team in the collection and recording of essential information on the estate and the directorate’s information technology solutions.
You will provide support to the Business Information Manager in the collection and recording of data on the Internet Property Register (Micad) contributing towards the rationalisation, use and development of the estate.
The information produced will be used to inform business planning and improved productivity as a result of Model Hospital analysis. The information will also be used as a foundation for the development of the Estate Strategy. The role will also support the development, data collection and recording of estate data, compliance data and appraisal data as we expand the use and benefits of the Internet Property Register (Micad).
We are looking for a team player with good communication and organisational skills, who is flexible in their approach to work. The post-holder will need to work independently in a diverse and interesting office environment, using their initiative to prioritise their workload, multi task and maintain confidentiality.

Education/Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Educated to Diploma level standard or demonstrable equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
- Knowledge of property management, building, engineering or asset and facilities management.
- NVQ Level 3 Business Administration or acquired equivalent experience
Knowledge, Training & Experience
Essential criteria
- Evidence of expertise and knowledge acquired within an NHS estate environment.
- Experience of working under pressure with potentially conflicting demands and the need to prioritise and manage own workload
- Experience of data analysis and interpretation in an Estates and Facilities environment.
- Advanced software skills particularly in Microsoft Excel.
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of understanding of estates terminology.
- Working knowledge of Estates software systems
Communication and Interpersonal Skills
