An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen to join the Patient Administration team at Castle Hill Hospital.
The role forms part of the wider team, acting as a float to provide cover in other departments to help meet the needs of the service. Therefore, you will be expected to have a flexible approach to working and must have the ability to work in a fast paced and highly demanding environments.
Whilst not exhaustive, your daily duties may include delivering a front-line reception service, booking patient appointments, answering phone calls, responding to emails and collecting patient case notes.
The post is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual who approaches work with a 'can-do' attitude. Excellent communication skills are essential as you will be expected to work with a diverse range of people. Good IT skills and attention to detail are also a must; we aim to deliver a high standard of service to our patients and clinical team.
Whilst we cannot guarantee a post at the end of the 6 month fixed-term contract the skills, knowledge and experience obtained during this period will prove invaluable when applying for permanent roles within the Trust.

**Salary reflects year 1 of 3 year NHS pay deal
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions.
