Ward 33

Are you looking for a rewarding role, in a dynamic and varied environment, where you are challenged in a good way?

Ward 33 have vacancies for enthusiastic nurses to join a progressive nursing team who provide care for patients with cancer with a variety needs. Ward 33 have a specialised area for stem cell transplant patients and a dedicated teenage and young adult cancer unit.

The Queens Centre is a state of the art department treating oncology and haematology patients with 99 in-patient beds across four wards. In addition to a fantastic building we also invest in our staff and offer comprehensive ‘in-house’ training and recommended pathways for further education relevant to the care of cancer patients. 

Good communication skills and the ability to work with a multidisciplinary team are essential, as patients are cared for between ward and clinic areas. 

A willingness to develop knowledge surrounding Oncology and Haematology is essential.

We will train, support and equip you to be able to deliver the highest quality health care possible. On ward 33 we are committed to supporting the professional and personal development of our staff, we will give you access to individualized training, clinical supervision and developmental opportunities.
