An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 5 perioperative Practitioners to become part of our well established theatre teams at Castle Hill Hospital (ODP or registered nurse). We are looking for a motivated, driven individuals who will be dedicated to delivering high quality care to patients in a busy theatre setting. We are a multidisciplinary team who work closely together and support each other, whilst providing evidence-based practice to our patients.
The departments provide the hospital with excellent 24/7 cover for elective and emergency patient care. We are an institute that supports opportunities for you to develop in both your career and education and strive to provide excellent standards of evidence based practice. We aim to recruit staff that are honest, open, flexible and focused on striving for excellence.
Successful candidates will rotate through our theatre suites to gain experience and exposure to the wide range of theatre procedures. You will be expected to communicate with the rest of the multi-disciplinary team; planning, implementing and evaluating care and have consideration of financial importance. Previous experience within theatres is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
Our services are 7 day working between the hours of 07:30hrs and 18:00hrs and in addition to this we provide an emergency on call service.
To apply you must:
-Be a qualified nurse with current NMC registration or qualified ODP with current HCPC registration.
-Be flexible and adaptable.
-To participate in a 24hr on call rota.
- -Have the ability to work on your own initiative as well as a team member.
You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
